Detached house in La Pineda, Castelldefels

The concrete structure with panoramic windows, transparency, openness and frankness in the use of materials and structures, were the first prerogatives of this house. And already when first getting to know the context and its pine groves, we integrated wood into the project. Wooden lattice shutters give the interior a secluded feel and protect against unwanted views. They allow "seeing and not being seen". They protect from the sun and create a play of light and shade similar to the branches of the local traditional pine trees.
